1. Who we are

This website is run by Xclusive Aluminium, part of the Daming Aluminium group, with branches in Boksburg and Vanderbijlpark. In this notice, "we" and "us" mean Xclusive Aluminium. We are the responsible party for the personal information described here, under the Protection of Personal Information Act (POPIA).

2. What information we collect

When you fill in a form on this website, phone us or email us, we may collect:

• your name and surname, and the company you work for (if you give it);
• your phone number and email address;
• your nearest branch and what kind of customer you are (for example, installer or homeowner);
• the details of your enquiry, such as sizes, cutting lists, drawings or photos you send us.

When you visit the website, our hosting provider automatically processes basic technical information, such as your IP address and browser type, to deliver the website and keep it secure. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies on this website.

3. Why we use it

• to answer your enquiry and call you back;
• to prepare quotes and check stock;
• to arrange collection or delivery of your order;
• to process trade account applications;
• to keep business and tax records that the law requires us to keep.

We only collect what we need for these purposes.

4. Who we share it with

We never sell your personal information. We only share it:

• with our own branches, so the right branch can help you;
• with service providers who host our website and email, and only so they can provide that service to us;
• when the law requires us to.

Some of these service providers may store information on servers outside South Africa. When that happens, we use providers that protect personal information to a standard similar to POPIA.

5. How long we keep it

We keep your information only for as long as we need it for the reasons above, or for as long as the law requires (for example, for tax records). After that, we delete it or make it anonymous.

We take reasonable steps to keep your information safe from loss, misuse and unauthorised access, including secure (https) connections on this website and limited staff access.

7. Marketing messages

We will only send you news or special offers if you have agreed to receive them, or if you are an existing customer. Every message will tell you how to stop receiving them, and you can opt out at any time.

You have the right to:

• ask us what personal information we hold about you;
• ask us to correct or update it;
• ask us to delete it, where we no longer need it;
• object to us using it, including for marketing.
